Membership in CSBS

Membership Dues:
To become a new member or to renew your existing membership please contact our Membership Chair through the webmaster at pamela618@comcast.net.

 Dues are due by December 31 of each year for the following year membership.

Membership Fees

Individual Adult Membership-

  • Adults over 18 years of age.  Includes 2 bulletins per year:
  • Printed: $20 per year (Copies will be received via the US Postal Service)

Family Memberships-

  • Includes 2 bulletins per year: Printed:  $25 per year (Copies will be received via the US Postal Service

Junior Memberships-

  • Junior/Youth memberships are just $5 per year
  • Juniors are under the age of 18





National Button Society Membership

  • If you are a serious collector, we encourage you to join the National Button Society, NBS, for these benefits:

      Membership list of all NBS members

      4 Bulletins full of button history, collecting advice, and upcoming events

      Participation in the annual NBS convention, located in various cities throughout the US.

      Membership Info

      The goal of button organizations is to support each member in understanding their buttons, 
      through material make up, embellishments, decorative finishes and historical value.

      Joining a local club is the best way to learn about your collection. Club members love to share their knowledge.  Check Club Links for a local club near you.

      The Colorado State Button Society (CSBS) is part of the National Button Society (NBS).  Go to the
      NBS site at www.nationalbuttonsociety.org for more information about buttons and NBS membership. We encourage membership in the National Society for the maximum learning experience.

       

      Colorado State Button Society

      The Colorado State Button Society (CSBS) is one of many state societies that is a member of the
      National Button Society. CSBS is a non-profit Colorado Corporation with a 501(c)3 tax exempt status.

                              Mission Statement
      The object of this organization shall be to study buttons and to preserve all that is beautiful and
      historical in them through the media of Colorado State Button Society Board Meetings, Button Shows, and by publishing a Colorado State Bulletin.

      Benefits

      When joining the CSBS, an individual receives the following benefits:

      • 2 Bulletins per year.
      • Fall educational workshops.
      • Spring workshop on entering and judging during competition.
      • CSBS General Meetings held at least 2 times a year.
      • Voting rights at the CSBS General Meetings.
      • Opportunities for buying and selling buttons through regularly scheduled button sales.
