Collecting buttons is a fun, fascinating and educational hobby. Since 1968 our Society members have collected, studied and enjoyed our buttons together. We have regular monthly club meetings in many areas around Denver. For those members not able to attend or who do not live near a meeting location, we offer an on-line solution. To help foster button knowledge, the society has a substantial library and a bi-annual bulletin for our members. To add to the fun, there is an annual Spring Button Show open to the public for a small fee. It includes many prizes for those wishing to purchase tickets for the drawing. There are mini-workshops planned for a limited number of people. These workshops provide information related to various button topics. The Show also provides the chance to purchase unique, modern and antique buttons from dealers here from outside the State.
Q: Are collectible buttons only old buttons?
A: Definitely not. The National Button Society defines old or antique buttons as those produced before 1918 and they are in a different classification. There are many modern buttons that are adored by many collectors.
Q: Is every button collectible?
A: Probably not. That is why you need to join and learn all the different button classifications.
